• Emergent Readers are written for shared reading and read aloud which improve children/students' expressive and receptive skills.

• Comprehension passages are written to enhance the children/students’ language ability.

• Spelling is made easier through the use of phonemes exercises where by children/students are asked to spell words by listening for individual phonemes and then identify the letters that represent those phonemes.
• Vocabulary plays an important role in fluency and comprehension.
